Beauty's key trends evolved with a focus on long waves, loose curls and lined lips at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

As far as beauty goes, at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, stars opted to ride the waves.

Long, wavy tresses and loose curls dominated the award show’s red carpet on Monday night in Los Angeles, with several different iterations of the trend.

Beyoncé sported long, blond waves under a vintage Versace cowboy hat onstage when accepting the Innovator Award. For Cher, who also took the stage to accept the 2024 Icon Award, the multihyphenate’s signature long mane also took on a waved texture.

Two of the evening’s honorees, Beyoncé and Cher, have been busy. The former debuted a new album, “Cowboy Carter,” last week, which followed the unveiling of her hair care brand Cécred. At the time, the brand’s chief executive officer Grace Ray said it was years in the making.

Cher, on the other hand, will be attending the amfAR Gala’s 30th iteration after first chairing the event in 1996.

The iHeartRadio Music Awards has focused on the top-played artists on both the company’s stations and its app since its 2014 inception. Among this year’s performers were Justin Timberlake, Green Day, TLC, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson and Tate McRae.
